Here are the key dates you need for UCAT 2025. Plan everything in advance and write any important dates in your calendar to avoid missing important deadlines.

Registration and booking dates

• UCAT account creation opens 13 May 2025 – you can register for the UCAT after creating a Pearson VUE web account. Bursary and Access Arrangement applications open on this date too.

• Booking opens 17 June 2025. Book early to secure the date, time, and test location you want as they fill up fast.

UCAT testing season starts 7 July 2025

Important deadlines in September 2025

• Access Arrangement application deadline: 16 September 2025

• Booking deadline: 19 September 2025. If you miss this deadline, you'll have to wait until 2026 to book your UCAT exam.

UCAT testing season ends 26 September 2025

This is the very last day you can sit your UCAT.

Also note that 26 September 2025 is the Bursary Scheme application deadline.

UCAS application deadline

You'll need to apply to medical schools through UCAS – the deadline for this is 15 October 2025.

The personal statement is changing to a series of free text questions for 2026 entry onwards.

UCAT results delivered in early November

In most UCAT testing centres, you will get a print-out of your scores as soon as you’ve finished sitting the exam. You’ll be able to access them on your online UCAT Consortium account.

However, it won’t be until early November that your final UCAT score will be sent directly to all of your chosen medical schools.
