What’s changed in 2025?

In January, the UCAT Consortium announced several key changes:

  • Abstract Reasoning has been removed

  • Decision Making (DM) now has 6 additional questions

  • Verbal Reasoning (VR) & Quantitative Reasoning (QR) have 2 extra seconds per question

Our team has analysed the official past papers to ensure Medify’s mocks match the real exam structure.

Decision Making (DM) Adjustments

The additional DM questions are spread across existing question types:

  • +1-2 Syllogisms

  • +1-2 Logic Puzzles

  • +1-2 Inference Questions

  • +1-2 Venn Diagrams

  • +0-1 Strongest Argument / Probability

There are minimal changes to the question distribution of Situational Judgement (SJ), Verbal Reasoning (VR), and Quantitative Reasoning (QR).
