Here are the key dates you need for UCAT ANZ 2026. We recommend planning everything in advance, such as writing any important dates in your calendar to avoid missing important deadlines.

Concessions and access arrangements open 16 February 2026

If you have or are a dependent registered on a current Health Care Card (HCC) or Pensioner Concession Card (PCC), you are entitled for a concession. The concession scheme is not available to New Zealand applicants. 

Access arrangements are for applicants who have extra educational needs such as dyslexia or even a temporary injury and will need extra time or adaptions in order to sit the UCAT ANZ. You’ll need to send in evidence of your extra educational needs such as a psychologist report or medical note.

Booking opens 3 March 2026

UCAT ANZ 2026 booking opens on 3 March 2026. You’ll be able to book your UCAT ANZ test after creating a PearsonVue web account.

Book early to secure the date, time and test location you want as they fill up fast.

Important deadlines in May 2025

• Concession application deadline: 11 May 2026

• Access Arrangements application deadline: 15 May 2026

• Booking deadline: 15 May 2026

• Late Access Arrangements application deadline ($85 extra fee): 29 May 2026

Late booking and final late booking deadlines in May 2026

The late booking deadline is 29 May 2026 and will incur an extra fee of $85.

The final late booking deadline is 5 June 2026 and will incur an extra fee of $185. If you miss this deadline, you will have to wait until 2027 to sit the UCAT ANZ.

Cancellation deadline on 12 June 2026

If you decide to cancel your booking, you must do so by this date to receive a refund ($50 of the registration fee).

After this date, you won't be entitled to a refund.

UCAT ANZ testing season runs 1 July–5 August 2026

UCAT ANZ results delivered in early September

You’ll be able to access your results on your online account.

However, it won’t be until early September that your UCAT ANZ score will be sent to all of your chosen medical or dental schools.
